  • In Colorado, you are required to complete at least 96 hours of clinical supervision, with at least 48 hours being individual supervision (face-to-face) with a licensed LCSW supervisor. The remaining hours can be group supervision or other forms of supervision as determined by the supervisor. These hours must be distributed evenly over 24 months.

  • LCSW supervision refers to the professional guidance and oversight provided by a licensed and experienced clinical social worker to someone working toward their LCSW license. The purpose is to ensure that the individual develops the necessary clinical skills, ethical standards, and competence required for independent practice.
